Ricky Don Adkins

Ricky Don Adkins, 56, of Searcy died unexpectedly in his home August 4, 2020.  He was born June 7, 1964 at Newport to Pasca Adkinsl and Dorthy Anderson Turpin.  Ricky married his best friend and the love of his life, Patricia Parks Adkins July 8, 1989; she survives.  Together they built a beautiful life and shared 31 years of matrimony.
Ricky was a hardworking man who enjoyed studying the Word of God.  He was a member of Way of the Cross Church at Kensett.  He loved to fish and spend time with his grandbabies.  Ricky was an avid baseball hat collector.  His collection is a fantastic conversation piece.
Ricky is preceded in death by his father, Pascal Adkins and his son, Buddy Morris.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Patty Adkins; his mother,   Dorthy Adkins; sister, Beverly Brahic (Roger) of Searcy; and four brothers, Gary Adkins (Stephanie) of Conway, Brent Adkins (Susan), William Chad Adkins (Kim), and Jeremy Adkins (Sheri) all of Kokomo, Indiana; as well as a host of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.


Visitation is Friday, August 7, 2020 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Sullivan Memorial Chapel with funeral services 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 8, 2020 also at Sullivan Memorial Chapel.  Interment at Carter Cemetery in Russell to follow.
