Rex Richardson

Mr. Rex Richardson, age 75, of Rowell, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, March 23, 2013. He was born June 1, 1937 in Herbine, Arkansas a son of the late J.Q. Richardson and Dean Powers Richardson. Mr. Richardson was a retired Teamster and Tomato Farmer. He loved spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed hunting, and was past president of Friendly Hunting Club. Mr. Richardson was preceded in death by his sister, Macel Ashcraft and brother, Joe E. Richardson. Mr. Richardson is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Louise Pace Richardson of Rowell, whom he married on February 15, 1958; daughter and son in law, Cindy and Greg Reed of Rowell; two sons and daughters in law, Jimmy and Brenda Richardson of Rowell, Jackie and Angela Richardson of Woodlawn; four grandchildren, Bryan and Rebecca Richardson of Rowell, Shane and Ashley Reed of Cabot, Brittany Richardson and Kelsey Richardson both of Woodlawn; three great grandchildren, Brody and Ella Richardson and Greyson Reed; three sisters, Betty Jacks and Louise Jacks both of Rowell, and Linda Taylor of Rye. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 25, 2013 at Buie Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jackie Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Prosperity Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. Pallbearers are: Bryan Richardson, Shane Reed, Carey Taylor, Danny Jacks, Jimmy Turner, Jimmie Shelby.
