Renia Young

Benna Renia Young, 55, of Calmer passed away at her home Sunday, December 20, 2015. Renia was born December 5, 1960 at Pine Bluff, to A. F. (Bully) Young and the late Francille Wilson Young. She was predeceased by her mother; her grandparents, William and Kathryn Wilson and Henry and Minnie Young and her daughter, Millie Cooper Taylor. Renia graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1979 and received her L.P.N. degree from Pines Vocational Technical School (now SEARK). She worked as a nurse in several locations in central Arkansas. Renia loved her family, horses and her angel collection.

Survivors include her father, A. F. (Bully) Young; sisters, Bobette (Kenneth) Anderson and Kathy (Mark) Halley; brother, Rick (Mae) Young; two grandchildren, Kalea Taylor and Brady Taylor plus several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with Brother Ronald Young officiating. Interment will follow in Rowell Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Monday, December 21, 2015 at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Justin Womack, Ray Pashcall, Brian Halley, John Phillips, Trevor McDaniels and Brandon Ashcraft. Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
