Raymond M. King, age 86, of Kingsland passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born in Hardy, Arkansas on September 12, 1932, to Allen and Ethel Hurst King. Mr. King worked in the construction field and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Delmo Qualls.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Louise King; children, Bobby King (Tobey) of Southwest City, Missouri, Raymond King Jr., Ricky King and Linda Connett; grandchildren, Dylan Conelly, Christopher Dean King Sr. of Pine Bluff, Melinda Curry of Warren, Matthew Christopher Knight of Southwest City, Missouri, James Michael King and Walter Ray King; great grandchildren, Christopher Dean King Jr., Chandler King, Hannah Ruth King, Basen Dean King, Angel Piper, Kelly McDonald and Garland Hales; great-great grandchildren, Nevaeh Owens, Chasidy Rodriguez, Koti Hooks and Macie Hales; siblings, Leona Green and husband, Kermit of MI, Deedee Ann Schultz of MI, Robert King Sr. of Ash Flat and sister-in-law, Marilyn Qualls.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 12, 2019 at Kingsland Cemetery with Reverend Harry Puterbaugh officiating. There will be a visitation held at Buie Funeral Home in Rison prior to the service, beginning at 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
