Ray Garland Tooke

Ray Garland Tooke 77, of White Hall, Arkansas, went to be with his Lord, July 7th, 2023. He was born, October 13th, 1945 to Buck Garner Tooke, and Geraldine Faver Tooke in Pine Bluff AR. He graduated from Dollarway High School, and served in the Army National Guard of Arkansas. He worked for the Cotton Belt Railroad in Pine Bluff AR, and briefly at International Paper.

In 1989, Ray acquired an event tent rental business. He owned, and operated River City Tents, Inc., in partnership with his son, Scott, for over 33 years in White Hall, AR. He was a long-time member of Family Church.

Ray is preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine Faver Tooke; his father Buck Tooke; his brother Clyde Tooke, and his brother Jerry Tooke.

Ray is survived by his wife of 52 years, Rose Tooke; his daughter Stephanie Tooke of Atlanta GA; his son Scott (Leigh Anne) Tooke of White Hall AR, and his Schnauzer mix JoJo.
