Randy Scott Rawls

Randy Scott Rawls, age 41 of Rison, died, Saturday, August 31, 2013 He was born March 25, 1972 in Pine Bluff, a son of Randy Rawls and Ellyn Smith Veorster. Mr. Rawls was a 1990 graduate of Rison High School. He was a former employee of the Washington Group where he was a Haz Mat Specialist. Mr. Rawls was an avid sportsman, loved riding motorcycles, singing and spending time with his family and friends. He was a Christian. Mr. Rawls was preceded in death by his grandparents, Patsy Rawls, George and Bessie Smith. Mr. Rawls is survived by three sons, Jacob Rawls of Pine Bluff, Randy Scott Rawls Jr., and Tyler Williams, both of Star City; daughter, Hannah Rawls of Pine Bluff; parents, Randy and Linda Rawls of Rison, Ellyn Smith Veorster of Pine Bluff; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Brian and Jennifer Rawls of Bryant, Nicholas and Lynne Rawls of Rison, Kyle and Melissa Brewer of Pine Bluff; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Keli and Dana Boykin of Monticello, Keri and Robert Levecchia of Ward, Kacy and Jason Bradshaw of Sheridan; grandfather, Calvin Rawls of Rison; he also had a host of Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Graveside services are 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Greenwood Cemetery. There will be a memorial service held at the home of Randy and Linda Rawls at 260 Randy Lane in Rison, following the graveside service.
