Rafael Figueroa Diaz

Rafael Figueroa Diaz, 60, of Searcy, passed away June 15, 2016 at Baylor University in Dallas, Texas.  He was born December 8, 1955 at Buenavista, Jalisco, Mexico.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rafael Figueroa Vazquez; and sister, Guadalupe Figueroa Diaz.
He married Arcelia Cortes December 19, 1987 at Buenavista, Jalisco, Mexico; she survives.  He is also survived by his mother, Enedina Diaz Ortiz; son, Jonatan Cortes and wife Melissa of Searcy; grandchildren, Jessica, Natalie, and Dylan; six sisters, Socorro, Maria, Elvira, Esther, Candelaria, and Martha Figueroa Diaz; four brothers, Miguel, Vicente, Jesus, and Trinidad Figueroa Diaz.
Visiting hours are 6-10:00 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2016 at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Searcy.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 20, 2016 at St. James Catholic Church. Interment will follow at White County Memorial Gardens.
