Peter Joseph Amplo

Peter Joseph Amplo was born in Bronx NY to Charles and Charlotte Amplo on October 13, 1945. Peter married Maxine Convertino November 4, 1970, in Bronx New York. Peter and Maxine went on to have two children while living in in Bronx New York. In 1985 Peter and Maxine moved to Tucson Arizona and built their lives, however this wound not be their final move. In August of 2021 Peter and Maxine moved to Searcy Arkansas. Peter and Maxine were married for 50 years before her passing almost one year ago on September 19, 2021. Peter passed unexpectedly Saturday morning September 3rd at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock Arkansas. Peter underwent quadruple bypass surgery and was hospitalized for two weeks, and he passed from this life reuniting with his wife.

He was the Father to Peter Charles (Carrie) and Martin Dominic. Peter was a grandfather to 10, Anthony, Dannay, Samantha, Ronnika, Devin, Justyce, Daniel, Meghan, Dominic and Macie. great grandfather to 3, Callie, Elijah and Camden and an uncle to many. He was a retired butcher, owner of P.A.M mounting he along with his wife Maxine created 3-D plaques. They traveled to many craft shows together. Peter loved to cook; he was full of stories that he loved to share with everyone along with his amazing recipes. He was a great fisherman and in his younger years quite the prankster. In his younger years he loved to entertain and played the drums in his basement with his band. Peter was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather he will be missed by so many.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2022 at Sullivan Funeral Care in Kensett. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time. He will return to Tucson AZ to be laid to rest next to his wife at Our Lady of the Desert.
