Paul Eugene Reed

Paul E. Reed, 87, of Ward passed on March 15, 2023.  He was born September 22, 1935 to Eugene "Gene" and Edna Altermatt Reed and was raised near Twin Bridges, MO.

Paul spent most of his adult life as a truck driver. He worked several years delivering candy, then satellite dishes and later retired from Dreamline Manufacturing after many years of seeing the country from an 18-wheeler.

Once retired he enjoyed bird watching and feeding the squirrels from his favorite spot under a huge shade tree in the backyard swing that he made himself in his workshop.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Patti Lynn Elzey.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 67 years, Alma Tooley Reed; Brother, Tommy (Norma) Reed; children, Kenny (Debra) Reed, Cheril (Elmer) Trumpfheller, Beverly (Ray) Boyd and Son-in-Law, Everett Elzey (Diane); he was a Crepaw and Pawpaw to 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.  He also leaves a host of beloved friends and family.

Following a private family visitation the family will receive visitors at the family home on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
