Patsy Roberts

Patsy Ann Goss Roberts, 85 of Beryl Community went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 17, 2024. She was born August 20, 1938, to the late Alonzo and Belle Goss

Following high school, Patsy completed business school, living and working in Little Rock until she married her husband of 65 years, Troy Roberts. As a military spouse she followed her husband living in Maryland, Germany, and Texas, She successfully managed rental properties, four young children while her husband served two tours of duty in Vietnam. Upon her husband's retirement they returned home to Arkansas buying and managing Beryl Community Grocery. Patsy served as a volunteer and then later as President of the Faulkner County Day School. She was respected as an advocate for her son and served as a resource for other families with children with developmental disabilities in the area when services were not readily accessible. Patsy enjoyed spending time with family, shopping with her daughters, flea marketing, cooking, and gardening.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 65 years, Troy Roberts, her brothers and sisters Louis Goss, Estelle McFarlin, Elsie Sneed, Claude "Sonny" Goss, Faber Joseph Goss, and Robert Goss. 

Patsy is survived by her daughters, Cathy Acre (Justin), Peggy Hayes (Dennis), Sharon Burgess (Steve) and son, Mike Roberts; her grandchildren Lauren Bower, Megan Sorrels, Daniel Griffith, Austin Acre, Matthew Burgess, Samuel Griffith, and Anna Hall; and 10 great grandchildren.

Patsy's graveside service will be held Saturday, February 24, at 2:00 pm at Beryl Cemetery in Vilonia Visitation will be held one hour prior to her service at Vilonia Funeral Home

Pallbearers are Dan Griffith, Austin Acre, Matthew Burgess, Sawyer Hall, David Duckworth, Lewis Sneed, and Jim McFarlin.
