Patsy Puckett, 70, of Searcy, passed away January 21, 2020 at her residence. She was born July 8, 1949 at Stanley, Kansas to the late John and Ruth Bethard Larrabee.
Patsy graduated from Stanley Kansas High School and received her associate degree from Ozarka College in Melbourne, going on to enjoy a career as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked for White River Medical Hospital for over 12 years and was active in the Extension Homemakers Club as well as volunteering for Arkansas Hospice. She also served a term on the board of directors for Safe Passage, a shelter for victims of domestic violence. She enjoyed her Bridge Club and friends and will be remembered for her grand sense of humor, always making others laugh.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond and Floyd Larrabee.
She married Tom Puckett September 27, 1970 at Olathe, Kansas. He also preceded her in death February 14, 2011.
She is survived by one son, Kenny Puckett (Jennifer) of Olathe, Kansas; two daughters, Debbie Puckett of Olathe, Kansas and Christy Puckett of Drasco, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Jason Puckett, Jacob Puckett (Laura), Joe Puckett (Annie), and Felicia Sanders (Chris); eight great grandchildren, Marquis, Carter, Hendrix, Malorie, Addison, Maggie, Heidi, and Lorelei.
The family will have a Celebration of Life at the Paper Chase Bookstore in Batesville on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 2:00.
