Pamela Renee (Cook) Hendrix

March 23, 1971 — July 2, 2015

Pamela Renee Hendrix, 44, of McRae, passed from this life July 2, 2015 with her family at her side.  She was born March 23, 1971 at Brinkley to William and Billie Ann Mooney Cook, who survive.
While Pamela’s time on this earth might have been short, she lived it to the fullest, receiving a Bachelor’s in Education; teaching Middle School at Bald Knob, worked as a Licensed EMT at Wynne, Volunteered at the McRae Fire Department; and was a Member of the Cabot/McRae Order of Eastern Star and she loved hunting and fishing with her father, as well as numerous other activities she’ll be remembered for.  Most importantly, she knew the Lord Jesus Christ and was a member of the Apostolic Church of Judsonia.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 22 years, Tommy Hendrix; son, Tyler Hendrix (Sarah) of McRae; daughters, Michala Hendrix (Cody) of McRae and Shalena Langford (Jason) of Mead, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Chloe Rae Hatley, Jaselyn and Noah Langford; brother, Joe Cook (Cheryl) and maternal grandmother, Lila Ramer; as well as a host of additional extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Bill Mooney; paternal grandmother, Beatrice Clinton Cook; and paternal grandfather, Luther Cook.
Visiting hours will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Sullivan Funeral Care in Kensett.  Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 6 at Apostolic Church of Judsonia.  Burial will follow at Lebanon Cemetery in McRae.
