Opland Lamar Crutchfield

Opland Lamar Crutchfield, 83, of Fordyce went to be with his Lord on May 4, 2024. He was born March 20, 1941 in Herbine to the late Buddy and Pauline Crutchfield. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Dale Crutchfield, his sister Earlene Cole, his brother Tommy Crutchfield and his great-granddaughter Kaley Friday. Mr. Crutchfield enjoyed spending time outdoors, working in his yard and watching football.

He is survived by his daughters Polly Redmond and her husband Ray, Paula Stewart and her husband Dean, Tolese Crutchfield (David Earnest), his sister Nora Sue Crutchfield Sanders, grandchildren Ray Redmond, Jr., Haley Redmond Friday, Tori Bryant, Anthony Magsby, River Stewart, Davy Earnest and Levi Thrower and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Prosperity Cemetery in Herbine.
