Olis Bruce Sterling, 58, of Bald Knob, passed away October 9, 2015 at his residence. He was born August 14, 1957 at Pleasant Plains to the late Henry and Rosie Osborn Sterling. Mr. Sterling was a graduate of Bald Knob High School and worked as a millwright for Toolcraft in Bald Knob.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Virgil, Wayne, Raymond, Dale and Earl Sterling; and one sister, Christine Huggins.
He is survived by two sons, Billy Sterling of Rose Bud; Cody Sterling of Danielsville, Georgia; two grandchildren, Benjamin Olis Sterling and Amelia Rose Sterling; six brothers, Ralph Sterling (Connie) of Bradford, Clyde Sterling of South Fulton, Tenn., Harvey Sterling of Bald Knob, Charles Sterling of Carlisle, Veston Sterling of Las Vegas, Nev., Wincle Sterling of Memphis, Tenn.; three sisters, Geneva Stanley (Ronnie) of Salem, Illinois, Orene James (Glenn) of Bald Knob, and Revon Thompson (Jesse) of Judsonia.
Visiting hours will be 12-2 p.m. Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Sullivan Funeral Care in Kensett with funeral services at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Cremation will follow services.
