Novella Brown Cheek

Novella (Brown) Cheek, 78 of Sheridan, Arkansas passed away Sunday, January 1, 2012. Novella was born November 29, 1933 in Sheridan, Arkansas to the late Fred Irvin Brown and Charity Marie (Wiggs) Brown. Novella was a member of Cedar Branch Baptist Church and had been attending New Life Fellowship Church. She loved her family cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who she adored. Ms Cheek was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles Edward Cheek and one stepson, Richard Tisdale. Ms Cheek is survived by her children, Ricky Wallace and his wife Jan, Lisa Wallace, Lori Bland, Randy Wallace and his wife Julie, Greg Tisdale and his wife Angie, LaShawn (Tisdale) Stocks; stepchildren, Evelyn Couch, Pamela Graham, Harold Ray Tisdale, Nelwyn Griffith and Tracy Ross; brothers & sisters, Hazel Rundell, Other Brown, Marjorie Wilson and George Brown; thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family members and a host of friends who will miss her dearly. Visitation will be 5:30 P.M. - 7:30 P.M. Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan with Brother Joe Bratton & Brother Steve Cypert officiating.
