Norman Eugene Brooks, formerly of Fort Worth, Texas passed away peacefully on September 18, 2018, at his home in Conway, Arkansas at the age of 81. Norman was born on October 3, 1936, in Henderson, Texas to Mack Henry and Margaret (Jacobs) Brooks. He worked for twenty years as a Rodeo Clown for various rodeos. He also worked as a truck driver until his retirement. After retirement, he enjoyed spending time in his home shop building cabinets and other wood projects and spending time with his great-grandchildren. He often said, "Don't say you can't, just say you won't." He leaves to cherish his memory, two sons, Randall Brooks of Springtown, Texas and Billy Jack Brooks; four daughters, Sherry Lynn Brooks of Haltom City, Texas; Teresa Newman of Granbury, Texas; Kimberly Keen of Conway, Arkansas; Melissa Trenaman of Denver, Colorado; sister, Carolyn Bryan of Kaufman, Texas; nine grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, James Edwards Brooks; three brothers, Fred Brooks; Johnny Brooks; Billy Quinn Brooks; and one sister, Peggy Sandra Brooks. The family will host a private celebration of his life on October 6, 2018, in Witchita Falls, Texas.
