Norma "Nonie" Creed

Norma "Nonie" Creed, age 95, of Jonesboro, formerly of Rison went to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 4, 2015. She was born October 18, 1920 in Pine Bluff, a daughter of the late Jewel B. Dunn and Emma Lena Autry Pearson. Mrs. Creed was a homemaker and a member of Rison Garden Club. She was a faithful member of Rison Baptist Church where she enjoyed participating in many activities. Mrs. Creed loved visiting with members of the community. She was preceded in death by her husband, C. W. "Jim" Creed. Survivors include nieces, Kay Kay Riggs of Jonesboro, Ginger Crowder and Randy of Pine Bluff, Martha Gardial of Hot Springs; nephew, Tommy Creed and Ann of Nashville and granddaughter, Elyse Weeks. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 9, 2015 at Buie Funeral Home chapel in Rison with Brother Wade Totty officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery at Rison. Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to Rison Baptist Church. Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home in Rison.
