Nelda Rose Pennington

Nelda Rose Pennington, age 65 of White Hall passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. She was born February 3, 1944 in Camden, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Joe V. and Nellie McCoy Childers. Ms. Pennington retired working for Montgomery County Appraisal District in Texas, and was a member of Harvest Family Church. She was preceded in death by one son, Gary Pennington; two brothers, Joe and Eugene Childers; three sisters, Doylene Cooper, Ernestine Ward, Wanda Mendenhall.

Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Ray and Cathy Pennington of White Hall; brother, Jack Childers of Jacksonville; three grandchildren, Savanna and Shannell Lindsay, Aaron Pennington; several nieces and nephews.
