Nelda Elizabeth Miller

Nelda Elizabeth Miller, age 65 of Rison, passed away Monday, January 6, 2020.  She was born on January 19, 1954 in Ruston, Louisiana, to the late Clarence Wilson and Thelma Juanita Tinsley Young.  Mrs. Miller held a PhD in education.  She taught on the high school and college level and for a time, Mrs. Miller was principal of Cornerstone Christian Academy.  She was the owner of Beth’s Bistro in Monticello and served in the United States Air Force.

She is survived by her daughter, Allison Boudreaux; granddaughter, Audrey Graves; brother, Trent (Gloria) Young and numerous additional family and friends.

Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at New Friendship Cemetery in Saline county.

Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
