Nelda Jean Forbes

Nelda Jean Forbes (McNair) died peacefully with her family by her side, at her home in Conway, Arkansas, on February 10, 2018 at the age of 68. Nelda was born on August 4, 1949 in Dallas, Texas to Arthur Harding McNair and Wanda Faye McNair (Sipes).  Nelda retired as an executive in the Asset Management Industry. She was a life long animal lover as you can see from her photograph. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Gregory Forbes of the home; son, Michael Brent Gaddis of Conway; daughter, Lisa Gallaway and her husband Eric of Red Oak, Texas; sister, Jan Tallichet and her husband Mark of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Tyler and Lindsey Gallaway; niece, Amanda Cureton and husband Chance of Dallas, Texas; nephew, Kevin Steele of Dallas, Texas; mother-in-law, Kathleen Forbes of Conway, Arkansas; her mother, Wanda Faye McNair who sadly passed away, the next day; and an host of extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Arthur (Mac) Harding McNair, and her father-in-law, George Forbes. At Nelda's request, her body was donated to science through the Anatomical Gift Program at the University of Arkansas Medical Science in Little Rock. After the return of Mrs. Forbes remains, the family will announce a celebration of her life.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association 909 W 2nd St, Little Rock, AR 7220  Arrangements are by Vilonia Funeral Home 1134 Main Street Vilonia, AR. 72173.
