Nancy Sullivan Duncan, 48, of Tumbling Shoals, formerly of Kensett, passed away October 17, 2021 at Unity Health in Searcy. She was born July 25, 1973 at Searcy, Arkansas.
Nancy graduated from Kensett High School going on to attend University of Conway then, she pursued her passion in nursing to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked for White County Hospital while still in school, later working for Dr. Joseph Clinic and Dr. Dale Wilkins. She was most definitely an outdoors type of woman. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, campfires, and just being out in God’s nature. Her family was her delight though, and the blessing of grandchildren fulfilled her life.
She was preceded in death by four grandparents, Bobbie McLaughlin, Geno and Alvie Statler, and Sue Howard.
She is survived by her beloved parents, Buddy and Linda Sullivan of Searcy; two daughters, Shelbi Ray (Colton) of Concord and Gabe Hightower (Chad) of Southside; three grandchildren, Libbie and Barret Ray; Lilly Hightower; one sister, Tracy Yarbrough (Tim) of Searcy; grandfather, Doug McLaughlin of Kensett; nephews, Tyler and Nick Yarbrough; her lifelong companion, Benny Duncan; her furbabies, Little Bit and Rose; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Sullivan Funeral Care. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Sullivan Memorial Chapel with burial following at Kensett Cemetery.
