Myrtice B. Richardson Wright

Myrtice B. Richardson Wright age 94 of Rison, died Sunday, August 1, 2010 at the Green House Cottages in Rison. She was born June 12, 1916 in Cleveland County, Arkansas, a daughter of the late George R. and Laura Bell Patrick Richardson. She was a homemaker and a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glen Wright; son, Paul L. Wright; four brothers, J. Q., Kirby, J. B., G.R. (Buddy) Jr. Richardson; four sisters, Sadie Byrd, Onie Rauls, Gatha Yarbrough and Jean Cooper.

Mrs. Wright is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Billy K. and Susan Wright of the Pansy Community; one daughter and son-in-law, Glenna and Cade Knowles of Rison; one daughter-in-law, Sandy Wright of Rison; one brother, Otis Richardson of Rison; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at Buie Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Wade Peddy officiating. Burial will follow in the Prosperity Cemetery. Pallbearers are David Wilson, Garland Yarbrough, Mike Wright, Glen C. Knowles, Timothy Knowles and Jimmie Shelby. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at Buie Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Rison (870) 325-6216
