Mozelle Kimbrell Weiner

Mozelle Kimbrell Weiner, age 85 of the Woodlawn Community, died Saturday, July 12, 2008 at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. She was born October 7, 1922 at Woodlawn, a daughter of the late Frank Kimbrell and Emma Roberts Kimbrell. Ms. Weiner graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1940 and married Vernon Weiner on January 22, 1941. Together they owned and operated Woodlawn Grocery from 1952 to 1978. She was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church and a charter member of Friendship Ladies Auxiliary. Ms. Weiner was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Weiner on April 27, 2006, three brothers; three sisters. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Alton and Tish Weiner of Houston, Arkansas; Jim and Gayle Weiner of Zachary, Louisiana; one daughter and son-in-law, Kim and David Hoffman of Woodlawn; two sisters, Neale Faver of Woodlawn, and Dottie Langley of Houston, Texas; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a .m. Tuesday July 15, 2008 at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Jackie Richardson and Brother David Hoffman officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery near Pine Bluff. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday July 14, 2008 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. Pallbearers are nephews, Troy Kimbrell, Burless Kimbrell, DeWayne Kimbrell, Mark Langley, Tim Langley, Rick Holderfield, Bud Holderfield, and John Bulloch. Memorials may be made to Friendship Missionary Baptist Church Ladies Auxiliary, 5990 Highway 63, Rison, Arkansas, 71665.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Buie Funeral Home in Rison.
