Minor Harvey Dortch

Minor Harvey Dortch, age 67, of Sheridan went to be with his Lord on Thursday, April 2, 2020. He was born September 26, 1952 in Grant County to the late Minor Dortch and Allie Mae Cotton Dortch. He enjoyed watching westerns and was always very observant. He was also a member of Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Wherever he went he shared his love of the Lord and his love of his church.

He is survived by his sisters, Betty Sue Barnes and her husband James of Benton, Anna Jane Reddin and Lonnie Brown of Fordyce, Wanda Deason and husband Lee of El Dorado, four nephews, one niece, and numerous great nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2020 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan with graveside services following at 2:00 p.m. at Moore’s Chapel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity or church of your choice in memory of Mr. Dortch.
