Michael Norton

Michael Norton, age 79, of Little Rock passed away at home, February 17, 2021. He was born July 13, 1941 in Pine Bluff to the late Stewart and Macel Huselton Norton. He graduated from Pine Bluff High School and from Arkansas State Teachers College (now University of Central Arkansas) in Conway. He was employed 30 years by the Little Rock School District as a mathematics teacher at Hall High School, retiring in 1994. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Billy James Norton and Jerald Franklin Norton, Sr.

Survivors include his brother, Bob Norton and wife Melda of Pine Bluff, and a sister-in-law Marie Norton of Bridge City, Texas. He is also survived by two nephews, a niece and numerous great nieces and nephews.

He is remembered as a very caring brother and uncle with a very good sense of humor and wit.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Roselawn Cemetery near Pine Bluff with Bro. Robert Cossey officiating.
