Michael Nelson

Michael Nelson, age 37, of Rye, died, Sunday, April 15, 2012. He was born October 4, 1974 in Alhambra, California, a son of Lee Nelson and Debbie Lyons Reed. Mr. Nelson was the owner and operator of KMN Cabinet Shop. He loved to work, fish, camp and spend time with his family. Mr. Nelson was of the Baptist faith. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert Lyons, Milton and Angela Nelson; niece, Lynleigh Jacks. Mr. Nelson is survived by his wife, Kim Reep Nelson of Rye; parents, Lee Nelson and Paula of Rye, Debbie Lyons Reed and Pete of Rowell; one brother and sisters-in-law, Josh and Ashley Reed of Rowell; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Suzy and Zeb Beard of Pansy, Sandy and Brent Taylor of Rye, Wendy Wright of Rowell, Paula and Justin Cowart of Rowell; two brothers-in-law, Keith Jacks of Rowell, Jason Delk of Little Rock; sister-in-law, Julie and Chris Sandine of Rowell; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Donna and Randy Jacks of Rowell, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lamar and Linda Reep of Randall; grandparents, Joyce Lyons of West Covina, California, R. L. and Betty Cole of Rowell, Rita Reep of Rison, Jeanette Reed of Rowell; aunts and uncles, Sarah Cullen, Barbara Shaw, Nancy Smith, Fred Stoudt, Dean Nelson, Brenda and Jimmy Richardson, Joey and Jewell Reep, Jimmie and Linda Reep, Kip Reep, Kathy and Jackie Norton, Laura and Gene Bergmann; great uncle, Tex and Susie Gates; nieces and nephews, Zachary Beard, Peyton Sandine, Colby Jacks, Nelson Davis, Stormy Taylor, Rachel Beard, Davis Delk and one due in July. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Buie Funeral Home with Brother Doney Blackerby and Brother Jackie Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Rowell Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Buie Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Bryan Richardson, Keith Jacks, Zeb Beard, Nelson Davis, Jerry Gates and Paul Stephenson. Honorary pallbearers are Wayne Gurnsey, John Culpepper, Jason Delk, Joe Reep, Kip Reep, Jimmie Reep and Dr. Kenneth Purvis.
