Michael Wayne Hartwick

Michael Wayne Hartwick, age 35, of Sheridan passed away Sunday, July 31, 2016 at UAMS in Little Rock. He was born June 3, 1981 in Pine Bluff, the son of the late Forrest Wayne Hartwick and Cynthia Ann James Arnold. Mr. Hartwick enjoyed playing basketball, fishing, spending time with his family, playing poker, and cheering for his favorite team, “Go-Spurs-Go”. He attended LifePoint Community Church in Sheridan. Mr. Hartwick is preceded in death by his parents and grandmother, Katie James.

Left to cherish his memory, step-father, Robert Arnold of Redfield; wife, Jeannie Hartwick of Sheridan; grandparents, Jesse James and Frances James of Scott; brother-in-law, Chris Billings of Dallas, Texas; daughters, Kayleigh Hartwick and Hadleigh Hartwick, both of Sheridan; dogs, Cleopatra and Rosie; brothers, Travis Arnold of Little Rock, Zach Arnold of Conway, Max Hartwick of White Hall, D.J. Henry, Brandon King, and Toby Blank; sisters, Christina Harter of Nebraska and Lindsay Travis of Colorado; and numerous family members.

Funeral services are 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 5, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Sheridan with Reverend Trey Stevens officiating. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Rest Hills Memorial Park in Sherwood. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan. Pallbearers are David Henry, Brandon King, Travis Arnold, Zach Arnold, Marc Stringer, Brian Ameen, and Toby Blank. Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan.
