Michael Shane Fleming

Michael Fleming, age 48, of Sheridan went to his heavenly home Friday, March 3, 2017. He was born July 30, 1968 in Pine Bluff to Roy E. and Dimple Bailey Fleming. Michael was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a devoted and loving father and would “give you the shirt off his back even if he didn’t have one.” Mike was the most generous and kind-hearted person to everyone, even complete strangers. He had an incredible, God-given talent for dreaming up projects that no one else could begin to fathom or put together, and was an extremely talented Craftsman. Mike loved his family with all of his being, but his grandbabies were the apple of his eye. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish his memory, wife, Janet Fleming of Sheridan; daughters, Jessica Fleming of Sheridan, Katelin Welch and husband, Joseph of North Little Rock, Bailey Fleming of Prattsville; brother, Roy Wayne Fleming and wife, Debbie of Sheridan; and sister, Rhonda Carter and husband Robin of Sheridan; three grandchildren, Mia, Rowen, and Farron; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Funeral services are 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 10, 2017 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan with Brother Danny Hill and Brother Kevin Hunt officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel South Cemetery in the Shiloh Community. Visitation is 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan.
