Meryl Ann (Frantz) Giles, formerly of Salida, Colorado, passed away on December 25, 2019 at her home in Conway, Arkansas at the age of 90.
Meryl was born on December 30, 1928 in Salida, Colorado to Frank and Ellen Frantz. She was a christian in the Methodist faith. She worked as a telephone operator for Mountain Bell.
She leaves to cherish her memory, one brother, John Frantz of Thompson Station, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Chad Collins (Amber) of Greenbrier, Arkansas; Kristi Thimm (Eric) of Conway, Arkansas; son-in-law, Charles Collins of Conway, Arkansas; Five great-grandchildren, C.J., Christopher, and Courtney Collins all of Omaha, Nebraska; Braxton Collins of Greenbrier, Arkansas; Collin Thimm of Conway; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ellen Frantz; her husband, William Giles; daughter, Frankie Ellen Collins; three sisters, Beryl McConnell, Mary Jean Brennan, and Linda Golden; and her grandchild, Jerl Collins.
The family will hold a private memorial in Salida, Colorado at a later date.
