Mayme (Miller) Reed

Mayme Reed, 86, of Tuckerman, passed away August 10, 2017 at Unity Health in Searcy.  She was born April 24, 1931 at Rockcastle County, Kentucky to the late John and Georgia Mason Miller.
Ms. Reed attended Hickory Grove Baptist Church.  She cooked in restaurants over the years before her retirement.  She enjoyed a good cup of coffee and visiting with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Leon Reed; son, Kenneth Lee Reed; five sisters, Margie Powell, Nina Townsend, Della Graham, Ella Key and Ruth Sharetts; three brothers, Orville Kenneth Miller, John Edward Miller, and Howard Miller.
She is survived by two daughters, Sue Salas of Searcy and Sheryl Reed of Kingman, AZ.; one son, Robert Reed of Hot Springs, Arkansas; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and three special friends, Janie and Donnie Calendar and Mike Templeton.
Ms. Reed will be cremated with no services being held.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of your choosing.
