Maxine was born in Stone County, Arkansas on May 17, 1933 to the late Charlie Stokes and Josie (Haywood) Stokes. She went to be with our Lord and Savior on December 3, 2021.
Maxine is proceeded in death by her parents along with four siblings: Lloyd Stokes, Almond Stokes, Orene Ramsey and Bobbie Hughes. Along with two husbands, Ray Ezell and David Duncan; as well as one Grandson David Ray Ezell, and one Granddaughter Melanie Ezell.
Maxine is survived by two sons and two daughters; Danny (Dorinda) Ezell of Judsonia; Jimmy (Kim) Ezell of Greenbrier; Linda (Mike) Sellers of Judsonia; and Denise (Mike) Morris of Higginson. Maxine had nine grandchildren whom she was very proud of; Shannon Ezell of Damascus; Dana Shows of Conway; Aaron Ezell of McKinney, Texas; Kim Ezell of Searcy Arkansas, Brittney Sellers- Hawkins of Judsonia; Bethany Sellers- Trobough of Judsonia; Blakely Turpin of Kensett; Hunter Morris of Higginson; And Amber Morris of Judsonia. She also had several Great-Grandkids and Great-Great Grands. Along with numerous Friends and Family, she was a light to everyone she met.
Maxine was a member of Whitney Lane Family Worship Center for 47 years. She was a devoted Christian, Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. She made a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Visitation will be 1 until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Whitney Lane Family Worship Center in Kensett with burial following at Kensett Cemetery.
