Marylin "Liz" Morris

“Liz” Morris, 84, of Searcy, died Friday, December 16, 2022. She was born October 14, 1938, in Forrest City, the eighth of nine children born to Ocie and Maddie Johnson Key. She was dubbed “Bitty-Bo” by her baby sister, Margaret, who could not pronounce Elizabeth. She is still referred to as “Aunt Bitty-Bo” by Margaret’s twins, Josh and Laura Gunter.

Liz and her first husband, Arthur Love, Jr., had two children who survive her. They are Cheryl Renee Love of Trinidad, TX and Steven Daryl Love of Alvin, TX.

Liz and her second husband, Ed Riley, managed apartment complexes in California and Nevada until Ed’s death. She loved the Carson City, Virginia City, Reno and Lake Tahoe area. She returned to Forrest City and cared for two of her older sisters until their deaths. In 2014, she met and married John Morris and moved to Searcy. He survives her.

Liz is also survived by one sister, Audrey Hobson of Kerrville, TX, and by a host of nieces and nephews.
