Mary Frances Winberry

Mary Frances Winberry, age 70, of Sheridan died Thursday, December 3, 2009 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born January 31, 1939 in Clarendon, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Robert and Vestal Day Phillips. Mrs. Winberry graduated from Clarendon High School. In 1956, she married Billy Winberry in Greenville, Mississippi. They moved to Sheridan in 1973.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Winberry of the home; three children, Robert (Becky) Winberry of Sheridan, Joyce (Doug) Little of Rockport, Ronnie (Katherine) Winberry of Hensley; brother, Robert Phillips of Delano, California; cousin, Shirley Winkle of Clarendon; aunt, Pauline Stewart of Clarendon; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 6, 2009 at Lakeside Cemetery in Des Arc, Arkansas with Brother Jim West officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan. (870) 942-3231.
