Mary Smith, 67, of Searcy, passed away April 21, 2016 at Searcy Healthcare Center. She was born June 10, 1948 at Dover, Arkansas to the late TD and Tessie Collum Penn.
She married John Smith May 18, 1972 at Batesville, Arkansas. He preceded her in death July 8, 2015. She was also preceded in death by one grandson, Zachary Smith; and two brothers, Jimmy Seward and John Penn.
She is survived by one son, Thomas Smith (Victoria) of Alexander, Arkansas; daughter, Teresa Sumner (Daro) of Bald Knob; six grandchildren, Shaylen Sumner, Hannah Sumner, Jeffery Wilkes, Daniel Wilkes, Joel Smith, and Noah Smith; and two brothers, Bobby Seward (Liz) and Tommy Seward; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
The family plans a memorial service at a later date.
