Mary Lemons

Mary Alto Lemons, age 100, of Dallas, Texas, formerly of Sheridan, went to be with our Lord on Friday, August 21, 2009. She was born April 30, 1909 in Normangee, Texas, a daughter of the late I.N and Connie Cannon Lovett. Ms. Lemons resided most of her life in Little Rock with her husband, Virgle. After many years, they both retired and moved to Sheridan. Mrs. Lemons retired from Arkansas Parks and Recreation Center and was a member of First Baptist Church in Sheridan. After moving to Dallas, she attended North Mesquite Baptist Church. Mrs. Lemons was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Virgle Lemons.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deanna and Bill Hutto of Garland Texas; one grandson, Jon Hutto of Garland, Texas; sister, Mildred Crossley of Bryant; niece, Sue Johnston of North Little Rock, as well as many other nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, August 24, 2009 at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Arkansas with Brother Roy Polk officiating.
