Mary E. Granderson

Mary E. Granderson, age 87, formerly of Kingsland, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, November 24, 2012. She was born December 5, 1924 in Rison, a daughter of the late Edd McDade and Vera Pierce McDade. Mrs Granderson was a homemaker and a retired Avon Representative. She was a member of West 4th Street Church of Christ. Mrs. Granderson was a very friendly person, that loved everyone; she loved the outdoors and working in her flower garden. She was also preceded in death by her husband, J. C. Granderson; two sisters, Verda Sue Berg, Lena Mae Granderson. Mrs. Granderson is survived by three brothers, Lamar McDade of Pine Bluff, Robert "Buddy" McDade of Fordyce, Charles McDade of Yuma, Arizona; three sisters, Mamie Ruth Todd of Locus Bayou, Rachel Davenport of Lionel, Texas, and Ora Lee McBride of Conway. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Buie Funeral Home with Brother Gary McDade and Brother Todd Easterling officiating. Burial will be private in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior to service time. Arrangements are under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Rison (870) 325-6216.
