Mary Goff

Mary Lou Goff, age 78,left her earthly home on Thursday, September 9,2021and joined her beloved husband of 60 years,Wayne Goff, and her precious daughter, Rita Goff Smith in her forever heavenly home. Mary was born on September 16,1942 in Searcy, AR to the late Everett and Altha Carson.

Mary's love for her family made her the richest woman on this earth. Her life revolved around each one of them and in the simple pleasures of being "Nan Nan." She loved gardening and spending time outside. Mary encouraged her grandchildren and great grandchildren to get outside and play. "A little dirt didn't hurt no one," she would say. Mary devoted many hours to her flowers in the yard,and it showed. Many strangers would stop in her yard and compliment how beautiful they were.        She loved sharing cuttings of her flowers with others so they could start their own gardens and find the joy she had found in them. You could not be around Mary and not hear her tease her brothers or lovingly scold her sons and grandchildren. And you would always see a grandbaby curled up in her lap feeling safe and contented with their Nan Nan.

Mary is survived by her two sons,Steve (Shannon} Goff and Tony (Wanda} Goff, her 5 grandchildren,Nikki Richards (Kevin}, Joshua Goff, Ashley Alexander (Santiago}, Derek Goff (Crystal}, and Kristen Goff; and six great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 1-2 Monday,September 13,2021at Sullivan Funeral Care,

Kensett,AR. A celebration of her life will follow at 2 PM that day in the Sullivan Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Kensett Cemetery.
