Mary Sue (Miller) Christie, age 75, of Haskell, Arkansas passed away Friday, November 16, 2012 at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton, Arkansas. She was born February 9, 1937 to the late Reverend Collie Melvin and Ophelia Mae (Borders) Miller in Columbia County, Arkansas. Sue was a very devout wife and Christian woman. She loved the Lord and was a member of Glen Rose Missionary Baptist Church. She was a wonderful and loving caregiver to many and took care of two handicap kids. Her passion in life was caring for people which she loved. She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Thomas Merle Christie; one son, Tillman Thomas Christie, and one brother Carl Miller. Sue is survived by two sons, Scott (Jada) Christie of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Marcus (Nicole) Wilson of Hensley, Arkansas; six daughters, Kathy (Philip) Kumpe of Haskell, Arkansas, Lisa Randals of Texas, Toni (John) Furnell of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Sharra (Garry) Berryman of Bauxite, Arkansas, LaVita (Paul) Bailey of Sherwood, Arkansas, and Laura (Phillip) Sloan of Jonesboro, Arkansas; 23 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends that will miss her dearly. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Glen Rose Missionary Baptist Church Malvern, Arkansas. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday November 19, 2012 at Glen Rose Missionary Baptist Church Malvern, Arkansas with Bro Dennis McClintic officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 P.M., Monday, November 19, 2012 in Salem Cemetery near McNeil, Arkansas
