Mary Lee (Hester) Childers

Mary Lee Hester Wilson Childers, age 88, of Sheridan went to be with her Lord on Saturday, February 6, 2021. She was born April 18, 1932 in Cass, Arkansas to the late O.C. Hester and Minnie Tillery Hester. She was a member of Orion Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as secretary of her Sunday School Class. She had a strong faith in her Lord and will always be remembered for her faithfulness. She was a member of the Eastern Star and enjoyed sewing and gardening.

She is survived by her children Joe Wilson and Tina of Denver, CO, Georgia Carter and Tommy of Sheridan, Ginger Pearson and Cliff of Beebe, step-children Kelly Childers and Kim, Keith Childers and Lynn, Kim Childers, Ginger Southerland and Robbie, siblings, Clay Hester of Newport News, VA, Norman C. Hester of Little Rock, L.D. Hester of Greenbrier, 19 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren that she helped raise.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Orion Missionary Baptist Church with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Orion Cemetery.
