Marvin Graves

Marvin Roy Graves, age 78 of Rison, passed away June 26, 2024.  He was born June 28, 1945 in Fort Worth, Texas to the late Birdie and Adeline Taylor Graves.  He loved the outdoors, and watching sunrises and sunsets, and always enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a very outgoing man who never met a stranger. Marvin was a retired United States Army Veteran, and loved his Country. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Gayle Graves, and grandson, Jeremy “Bubba” Tribble.

He is survived by his children, Michael Graves, Melissa Graves, Kim Kelley,  and Paula Vallance (Ray), grandchildren, Karri Dziemiela, Kristine Burk, Victoria Kelley, Jeremy Tribble, Jr., Christopher Vallance, and Preston Quinn, one great grandchild, Ethan Womack,  siblings, Diane McNutt, Sheila Davis, and Jimmy McNutt.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m., until 12:00 p.m., Monday, July 8, 2024 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison.
