Martha Ann (Mayfield) Moore

Martha Mayfield Moore, age 86, of Batesville, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, January 25, 2024. She was born September 15, 1937, in Sherrill, Arkansas to the late Willard “Bill” Mayfield and Beatrice “Bea” Mayfield. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Lonnis Moore and her two brothers, Robert and Clyde Mayfield. Martha and her family made their home in the Pansy Community in 1964 and moved to Batesville in 2013. Martha graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1955. She retired from Rosswood Country Club in 1998.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Trucks and her husband Mark and her son, Rusty Moore, twos sisters, Jeanette Richardson of Crossett and Gloria White of Pine Bluff, grandchildren, Trey Trucks, Leslie Trucks (David Patterson), all of Batesville, Tracie Richey and her husband Jared of Jonesboro, Ruston Moore and his wife Emily of Gid, Lucy Moore of Batesville, and Karson Pierce (Brittany) of Yellville, great-grandchildren, Ryker and Roxey Richey of Jonesboro, Bo (Zoey), Tyson, and Abby Trucks of Batesville, Emberlynn Moore of Gid and Creek Pierce of Yellville, her great-great-grandchild Brynlee Trucks of Batesville, and a special niece Kathy Ferguson.

Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at Prosperity Cemetery in Herbine with Bro. Wade Petty officiating.
