Martha Lane Hogg

Martha Lane Hogg, 85, of Leola, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at her home. Mrs. Hogg was born November 30, 1928, in Willow, Arkansas to the late Oliver Martin and Dessie Beatrice Ernest Jones. She was reared and received her education in Willow, Arkansas. She moved to Leola in 1958. Mrs. Hogg was a factory worker for 10 years, but spent most of her life as a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Britt Hogg; and her sister, Glena Skiff. She is survived by her son, Roger Perser of Leola; two daughters, Margaret Finley of Leola, and Linda Herrington of Malvern; a brother, Billy Jones of Purvis, Mississippi; sister, Charlene Clack of MerRouge, Louisiana; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be Saturday, June 21, 2014, 10:00 AM, at Calloway Cemetery in Hampton by Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the cemetery.
