Mark Edward McMillan, born on December 1, 1965, in San Diego, California, passed away on February 21, 2025, in Conway, Arkansas. He was a dedicated Army mechanic who served his country with honor and distinction. Throughout his military career, Mark was the recipient of numerous awards, including the Army Achievement Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Superior Unit Award, and the Army Good Conduct Medal, among others. His commitment to service was further evidenced by his accolades, such as the Southwest Asia Service Medal with two Bronze Service Stars and the Kuwait Liberation Medal from the Government of Kuwait.
Mark was known not only for his mechanical skills but also for his passion for building cars and collecting metal signs. He possessed a remarkable gift of gab, always ready to engage in conversation and share stories. Above all, he cherished his time with family and friends, being a devoted husband and father.
He is survived by his mother, Eleanor Lye McMillan, beloved wife, Naomi Martin McMillan; daughter, Dymond McMillan; and partner, Cisco Joseph; son, Zackery McMillan; daughter-in-law, Michaela; brother, Frosty McMillan; and numerous nieces and nephews, who will deeply miss his warmth and enthusiasm.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Edward McMillan; and sister, Deedee Helton.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM at Cole Funeral Home in Conway, Arkansas. Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate the life of a man who loved deeply and served faithfully.
