Marjorie Neely

Marjorie Neely, age 81, of Rison, Arkansas passed away Friday, September 26, 2014. Mrs. Neely was born December 12, 1932 in Herbine, Arkansas, a daughter to the late Allie Stewart and Mellie Goggans Stewart. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed reading her bible. Crocheting, reading and sewing dresses for her granddaughter were some of her favorite hobbies but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Neely is preceded in death by her husband, R. L. Neely; one brother, James Stewart; one grandson, Dustin Neely. Left to cherish her memory is one son, Gary Lynn Neely and his wife Laura Michelle of Rison; three daughters, Thersia Neely of Pine Bluff, Janice Coddington and her husband Frank of White Hall and Judy White and her husband Cecil of Pine Bluff; two brothers, Billy Gene Stewart and his wife Shirley of Herbine and Kelly Stewart and his wife Becky of Herbine; one sister Ailene Taylor and her husband Jimmy of Herbine; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 1, 2014 in the Buie Funeral Home chapel with burial to follow at Prosperity Cemetery.
