Marilyn E. Snyder Benjamin Hubbard, 85 of Jacksonville, went to be with the Lord on October 19, 2021. She was a loving Christian wife, mother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was an active member of Woodrow Church of Christ in Vilonia, Arkansas and devoted her life as a servant to our Lord. Marilyn served as church Secretary in Alexandria, LA, Jacksonville, AR, and Deridder, LA publishing church bulletins, church directories and managing the church food pantry. She was a ladies Bible class teacher, taught children's Bible classes for many years, and published the first ever church bulletin and directory at Woodrow Church of Christ.
She was born on March 1, 1936, to Ben and Heidi Snyder in Danville, Illinois. Marilyn was the oldest daughter of five children. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Benjamin; her parents, Ben and Heidi Snyder, brother, Charles Snyder; two sisters, Patsy Warren and Carol Sue Wynn, and a daughter, Debra Shearer.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Jack (Steve) Hubbard; children, Jeanie Snider (Lowell); John Benjamin (Leah); Steve Benjamin (Vicki), and Sandra Smith (Joe); a brother, Dean Snyder (Willa), along with 11 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and six step great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 21, 2021, at Woodrow Church of Christ, 295 AR-319 E., Vilonia, AR 72173 with Steve Hubbard officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior also at the church. She will be laid to rest in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at 10:00 am, Tuesday, October 26, 2021.
