Margrette Wright, a beloved figure in her community, was born on May 15, 1927, in Searcy, Arkansas. She graced this world with her presence for nearly a century before passing away on December 29, 2024. 

Margrette was dedicated to her family and her community, serving as a cherished member of the FBC Encouragers class. She was known for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared with those around her. Her legacy is reflected in the many lives she touched throughout her lifetime. She was a Breast Cancer Survivor, and also volunteered for 10 years as an Auxiliary Volunteer at Unity Health in Searcy.

She had a deep passion for fishing, often spending joyful moments casting lines with her grandchildren. Cooking was another of her beloved pastimes, as she enjoyed gathering family and friends around her table to share delicious meals and create lasting memories.

Margrette is survived by her daughter, Angela Wright Fisher (Rodney) of Romance, Arkansas; her daughter Karen Wright of Searcy, Arkansas; and her daughter-in-law, Betty Wright of Searcy, Arkansas. She took great pride in her grandchildren, Ryan Fisher of Rosebud, Arkansas, and Kimberly Fisher Hurley (Adam) of Beebe, Arkansas, as well as her great-grandchildren, Brayden Fisher and Brody Fisher of Rosebud, Arkansas, and Adlee Hurley of Beebe, Arkansas. Additionally, she is survived by numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.

Margrette was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leo Wright, her son Tom Wright, and her siblings: Alfred "Buddy" Collins, James Collins, Dorothy Jorski, Mabel Beranek, and Alma G. Ward. Their memories continue to live on through the stories and love shared among her family and friends.

A visitation to honor Margrette will be held on January 2, 2025, beginning at 1:00 PM at Cole Funeral Home in Kensett, Arkansas, followed by a funeral service at Cole Funeral Home in Kensett, Arkansas, starting at 2:00 PM. As we gather to celebrate her life, we remember a remarkable woman whose spirit and love will forever be cherished.
