Margaret “Louise” McAbee Fulgham, 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 16, 2019. Mrs. Fulgham was born on April 24, 1931 in Reeds Crossing, Alabama to William and Vera Hambrick McAbee. Louise attended Helena High School and married the love of her life, Mack, on September 16, 1948. Together they celebrated 68 years of marriage.
Louise is survived by her 3 children, Diane Hopkins (Larry), Jim Fulgham (Becky), and Judith Haynie (Bill) along with her 7 grandchildren, Cale Hopkins, Jeremy Hopkins, Heath Atchison, Jess Fulgham, Jodie McGinley, Laura Habisreitinger, & Jamie Fulgham, and a sister, Carol Stacy. Together, their family blessed them with 11 great-grandchildren whom she was very proud of. Louise was an excellent seamstress and retired from the Bobbie Brooks Garment Industry after serving over 30+ years with her talent.
She is preceeded in death by her husband, her parents, her siblings Joe Edward McAbee & Doris Evelyn Haymaker, her son-in-law, Terry Lee Atchison, and 2 great-grandsons Nickolai Caden Ross and Elijah Cole McGinley.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to nurses Nicole, Leah, and Chrystal along with Tricia, Stephanie, and Chaplin Cinda Smith with Arkansas Hospice.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 18, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Sullivan Funeral Care in Kensett. Services for Ms. Fulgham will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Sullivan Memorial Chapel with interment at the Steward Addition of Shady Grove Cemetery with Bro. Phil Stein officiating.
