Margaret Studdard Ashcraft

Margaret Studdard Ashcraft, age 76, of Star City, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, June 11, 2013. She was born September 10, 1936 in England, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Joel and Mattie Ivy Studdard. Mrs. Ashcraft was a homemaker and a member of Northside Baptist Church in Pine Bluff. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. "Pooch" Ashcraft on September 3, 2006. Mrs. Ashcraft is survived by one son, Mike Ashcraft of White Hall; two daughters, Kathy Harlow and her fiance' Larry Easterling of White Hall, Donna A. Carter of White Hall; sisters, Carolyn, Betty, Helen and Ruth; grandchildren, Carla Stewart, Ron Gee, Zach Waddle, Brittany and Lindsey Ashcraft; great grandchildren, Shaina Stewart, Xavier Stewart, Brayden Foster, Emmalee Gee and Cameron Drake Waddle. Private family graveside services were on Saturday, June, 2013 at Prosperity Cemetery with Brother David Pauley officiating. Pallbearers were Ron Gee, Zach Waddle, Larry Easterling, C. O. Bunch, Xavier Stewart and Ben Plumlee. The family wishes to offer a special thanks to caregivers, Marlyn McDonald, Jimmie Hicks and many others; Gardner Nursing Center in Star City and "Inspirations" of Monticello.
