Marcelo Maldonado, Sr. passed away peacefully at his home on July 18, 2018 in Vilonia, Arkansas at the age of 56. Marcelo was born on April 6, 1962 in San Juan, Texas to Julian and Leonor (Lara) Maldonado. Marcelo is survived by his wife of 23 years, Sylvia Maldonado of the home; one son, Marcelo Maldonado, Jr. of Conway; a daughter, Leonor April Maldonado of Vilonia; four brothers, Reynaldo Maldonado of Conway; Juan Adrian Maldonado of Wilsonville, Oregon; Tomas (Beverly) Maldonado of Conway; Alejandro Maldonado of Conway; two sisters, Adalia Maldonado of Salem, Oregon; Esmeralda Pellissier (Frederick) of Falls City, Oregon. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Francisco Daniel Maldonado; two sisters, Teresita Cordova and Linda Gonzalez. A graveside service will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Cypress Valley Cemetery in Vilonia, Arkansas with Reverend Charles Pruitt officiating.
