Malena Sue Leopard Selman

Malena Sue Leopard Selman, age 36, of Sheridan, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, December 7, 2010. She was born January 3, 1974 in Pine Bluff, a daughter of Mack Leopard and Brenda Valentine Leopard. Ms. Selman was a fourteen year employee of ITW Shippers in Sheridan and a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Raymond Leopard, Rachel Leopard, Tracey and Aminell Valentine.

Ms. Selman is survived by two sons, Remington Selman and Jacob Selman, both of Sheridan; parents, Mack and Brenda Leopard of Rison; one sister and brother-in-law, Stacie and J. R. Youngblood of Hampton; grandmother, Kathleen Leopard of Rison.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with Brother David Leopard officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 10, 2010 at Buie Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Todd Lunsford, Tadd Johnson, Matthew Owen, Timmy Owen, Brent Leopard, Brad Leopard, Cory West and Danny West. Memorials may be made to the Susan G.
